Google’s targeted advertising program AdSense is even more intrusive than Phorm and NebuAd. But Gmail scans personal communication for keywords , and using a secure tunnel isn’t protection.
There’s an inherent conflict between traditional notions of personal privacy and the Internet’s emerging goldmine, targeted advertising .
The Federal Trade Commission should have more closely studied Google. Google is becoming the new Microsoft, only much worse.
The blogosphere regularly excoriates Microsoft for being a monopoly, but Google, not Microsoft, may be in the cross-hairs of the nation’s next anti-trust chief for monopolistic behavior. Last June Christine A. Varney, President Obama’s nominee to be the next antitrust chief, warned that Google already had a monopoly in online advertising.
In my opinion, Google has earned its place as the number 1# search engine and dominance of online advertising, with the success of AdSense and the lack of alternatives, raises the possibility of a Google monopoly in online advertising.
So , Google the next microsoft . Welcome .

Can really use dos?
Monday, June 29th, 2009Recently mr. Robert Hansen , aka RSnake , a person I really respect , released Slowloris , http dos tool .
It uses a concept of keeping an HTTP session alive indefinitely, repeating that process a few hundred times.
This is the practical demonstration of how dos can be used for hacking . Yes , it isn’t just kidding .
Why? Because you will have all to yourself the site . Yes , effectively a funny side of DoS is that denies the service to everyone , except you. And so you can remove bandwidth and database chatter, and retreive more precise information what is going on at the code and database levels.

And finally , an ethical problem regarding slowloris and rsnake’ article . Apache is responsible about or not?
I ( and apache ) think if you want to use apache you have to patch manually to improve the security and have to write/install modules to protect you , and so if you know how it’s a way , but if not can simple try other webserver more supported and less old .
Nobody forces to use apache . It’s very simple .
